  • Master of Technology in Computer Engineering, a 2-year postgraduate programme, awards the recognition of independent research, and application of scientific knowledge in the arena of technology and science.
  • Our students, with constant guidance from our experienced and eminent faculties, have showcased their fundamentals and problem solving ability through impactful research work in contemporary domains like ML-AI, Networking, Cloud Computing, Data Mining, GPU computing, AR/VR . The Department has been encouraging the potential of researchers by offering state-of-the-art ML/AI, Image Processing and Apple lab for quality R & D purposes. IEEE SB of our department has been a sturdy support system for achieving qualitative research. Every year quality research papers are being published in well reputed international journals by the students of this programme.
  • The department supports its students to overcome all the shortcomings of fundamental training, of any parameter and intensity, for advanced research work by offering specialized faculty guidance. Department has been keen on taking initiatives to arrange International Conferences, National Symposiums and Seminars for the fulfilment of professional and academic goals. With our major recruiters being Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro among others; it is evident that the emphasis is given on internship and placement.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
  • PEO1: To provide the fundamentals of science, mathematics, electronics and computer science and engineering and skills necessary for a successful IT professional.
  • PEO2: To provide scope to learn, apply skills, techniques and competency to use modern engineering tools to solve computational problems.
  • PEO3: To enable young graduates to adapt to the challenges of evolving career opportunities in their chosen fields of career including higher studies, research avenues, entrepreneurial activities etc.
  • PEO4: To inculcate life-long learning aptitude, leadership qualities and teamwork ability with a sense of ethics for a successful professional career in their chosen field.

Program Outcomes (POs)
  • PO1 Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  • PO2 Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  • PO3 Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
  • PO4 Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
  • PO5 Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
  • PO6 The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
  • PO7 Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
  • PO8 Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
