  • The Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering is a diploma level engineering course in aeronautics. It is a three-year programme divided into six semesters. The Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering deals with the study of aircraft propulsion, structures, aerodynamics, flight mechanics, avionics, and Aero modelling .
  • This diploma programme focuses on enriching students with more practical-based learning. The department of Aeronautical Engineering enables the students to think creatively. Students have an enormous range of opportunities to explore the designing, analyzing, developing, and testing of the various parts, and components of aircraft-related systems and equipment. The department is fully equipped with an Aerodynamics Lab, Propulsion Lab, Airframe and Engine Shop, Avionics – Radio Lab, Instrument Lab, Electrical and Electronics, Battery, NDT and Composite Lab, CAD/CFD, Fluid Mechanics Lab, Solid Mechanics Lab, Thermodynamics Lab, Aero modelling Lab, and HPT-32 Trainer Aircraft.
  • A Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering has a bright career in India and overseas. There are abundant scopes of placement after completing the Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering. Students are eligible to join the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Aircraft/spacecraft Manufacturing Companies, Airlines, Civil Aviation Department, Private Sectors, Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organizations, and aeronautics-related start-ups after the completion of the programme.
