Google Cloud Technology, Silver Oak University organized and managed by the Department of Computer Engineering at Silver Oak College of Engineering and Technology, with the goal of striving for excellence and has recently hosted the Google Cloud career readiness program in collaboration with IEEE SOU SB. Google Cloud has implemented the program and few colleges throughout India have been invited to collaborate and host it.
The Google Cloud career readiness program is providing students from diverse backgrounds with the opportunity to prepare for cloud professions by gaining deep knowledge through industry-recognized training, skill badges, and certifications. Students in this program get the ability to work on various lab technologies and receive hands-on instruction on the Qwiklabs platform, which incorporates the many ideas of cloud technology, from Cloud Architecture to Application Development.
Silver Oak University has announced its involvement in the Google Cloud Career Preparation Program with more than 150 students in this program having completed Pretest under the direction of Dr. Satvik Khara, Head of the Department, Computer Engineering, and guided by Prof. Sanket Shah (CE, SOCET), Prof. Vishwa Patel (CE, SOCET), and supported by student mentors. Following the pretest, more than 100 students have completed their Google Cloud career readiness program and are certified with Google CCRP- ACE Track.
Google Cloud Technology, Silver Oak University organised and managed by Department of Computer Engineering at Silver Oak College of Engineering and Technology with a motive to strive and stride towards excellence had recently hosted the #GoogleCloudReady Facilitator Program in association with SOU IEEE SB. The program was launched by Google Cloud wherein a few institutions across India were approached to be a collaborator and host this program. In this program, students got an opportunity to work on various lab technologies and procure hands-on training on the platform of Qwiklabs, which included the different concepts of cloud technology from Cloud Architecture to Application Development and Machine Learning to BigData with Cloud Technology.
A group of more than 130 students under the vision of Dr. Satvik Khara, Head, Department of Computer Engineering were guided by Prof. Abhishek Patel(CE,SOCET) and facilitated by student mentors, Mr. Dhruv Parmar(8th Sem CE,SOCET) and Mr. Sagar Soni (8th Sem CE,SOCET) in this program and got insights of this in-demand technology amidst this COVID-19 pandemic. Along with this, we are elated and excited to share that more than 66 students have achieved unparallel success in this program which has also been appreciated by Google. Google Inc. encouraged these participants with schwags and digital badges worth more than 250000 INR for their phenomenal success and work in this pioneering event of GCP, Silver Oak University.
